FILCAS is proud to work with Minister Ross on bringing The Heritage Recognition Act to fruition.
The Saskatchewan Government introduces The Heritage Recognition (From Many Peoples, Strength) Act. This means that June will forever be recognized as Filipino Heritage Month in Saskatchewan.
FILCAS will continue to lead the community and advocate for the interests and recognition of Filipino-Canadians across Saskatchewan.
Thank you to our partner, Philippine Association of Saskatchewan (PAS) and other community members who joined us today at the first reading of the Act at the Saskatchewan Legislature.
